                             ORDINANCE NO.   10698 
                
                
                 AN ORDINANCE CLOSING AND ABANDONING A PORTION
                 OF A STREET RIGHT-OF-WAY ALONG THE WEST SIDE OF
                 HOUSTON STREET, MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED
                 HEREIN AND AS SHOWN ON PLAT ATTACHED HERETO AND
                 MADE A PART HEREOF BY REFERENCE.
                
                
                                                    
                
                
       	    	 SECTION 1.  BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
       CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby 
closed
       and abandoned a portion of a street right-of-way varying from 0.5 

       feet to 1.5 feet along the west side of Houston Street located
       within the Hamilton County McConnell Home Place Subdivision,
       beginning 15 feet from the southeast corner of Lot 20 and going
       some 255 feet to Lot 7, in a northerly direction, as shown on 
plat
       attached hereto and made a part hereof by reference.
       	    	 SECTION 2.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this Ordinance
       shall be effective two (2) weeks from and after its passage as
       provided by law.
